All players sit around a hard-top table with the glass in the center. Each player takes turns at trying to bounce the quarter off the table top into the glass. If you bounce the quarter into the glass, you are allowed to tell one person playing the game to drink a predetermined amount of beer. When the person is finished drinking, you get to bounce the quarter again (in Quarters, you get to keep trying until you miss). If you miss, the player immediately to your left gets a turn. If someone bounces the quarter in the glass 3 times in a row, they get to make up a new rule to the game. Some suggestions of new rules are:

- If you say “drunk” out loud, you have to take a drink

- If you point your finger at another player, you have to take a drink

The more creative you are, the more interesting the game becomes!

To make the game easier or more difficult, change the size and shape of the glass that you are trying to bounce the quarter into.

The objective is to get the olive into the snifter without touching the olive with any part of your body, rolling it off the bar or by scooping it into the snifter.

How to do the trick: Place the olive on the bar and then place the snifter over top of the olive so that it is completely covered. Slowly rotate the snifter around the olive until it starts to roll around the inside walls of the glass. As you begin to rotate the snifter faster and faster, the olive will move up higher in the glass. Once the olive has passed the middle of the snifter, quickly flip it over and place it on the bar with the olive inside. Now collect your winnings!

Be sure to practice this trick a few times before making a bet so that you master flipping the snifter over. When you first try it, the olive may fly out of the glass.
