Bar Bets – Magic Matches

Everyone is always looking for a way to get a free drink at the bar. I will give you some tips and tricks here that will make that task a lot easier for you. Some of the tricks require some practice at first but most of them are pretty easy to master. Good luck with them and be sure to let us know how they worked for you.

The only thing that you will need for this trick is a book of matches (Note: wooden matches will not work for this trick).

What you do is bet someone that you can toss a match into the air and make it land on its side. Go ahead and throw a few into the air like you are determined to make it work. Let the people around you give it a try and really play it up. Unless they know how to do the trick, they won’t be able to make it land properly.

Once you have the bet made with those around you, grab a match and bend it slightly before you toss it in the air. To their amazement, the match will land on its side and you will be on your way to collecting your free round!

Practice this trick a few times at home before you make your first bet so that you are use to it.
